We have had our cat Merlin for a little over two years now. We got him from friends that found him under their motor home after returning from a trip, so they didn't know where he came from, but they couldn't keep him. He was skinny and wet and about 5-6 months old. We fell in love with him and brought him home, but had no history of his life. As far as we know he probably had tape worms when we got him. We treat all of our animals with homeopathy and only use conventional medicine when absolutely necessary. We have 2 dogs and 3 cats. But the natural cures weren't proving successful with Merlin's tape worms. I would continue to find them in his stool periodically.
Back in September, I ordered some PetCure to have on hand to sell because it had a residual of 5-7 days and thought people would like that. I also liked the fact that it had an effect on the intestinal parasites and wanted to give it a try. I started using it in the animal’s water bowl sometime in October. I would say after they had been drinking it for 5-6 weeks, I started to notice that Merlin was passing a lot of tape worms in his stools. This went on for several weeks, sometimes heavy, sometimes lighter. I knew that the PetCure was doing a great job. He has finally started to show fewer and fewer signs of the tape worms and I think we have finally gotten rid of them. He also looks better, not so thin and is overall doing very well. Our golden retriever, Buddy, is prone to hot spots and I have used the PetCure on his hot spots and it has helped tremendously on relieving the discomfort and odor of them. It also seems to shorten the recovery time too!
And last but not least, every pet owner has those times when their beloved pets have little accidents that leave odors behind. We just recently had our cat Gracie go through a UTI and she was having accidents from that in unexpected places. Well, I used the PetCure to get rid of those smells and stains with ease.
I have also used it as a spray topically on all of our animals for their itching. They don't have fleas but they get times when they are itching for whatever reason and that has worked great for that too. So as a pet owner, I have used this product pretty much every way it is listed, and I have been very pleased with the results each and every time. It does everything it claims! How nice it is to finally find a safe, non toxic and effective product that does so much in one bottle. I do want to mention that the product has been reformulated since I bought it and you have to buy a separate one for the water now.
